Plain-English definitions for the terminology used across Coach's Corner.
- Accumulator
- A single bet that links together multiple selections; all must win for a payout, multiplying the odds.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap system that eliminates the draw outcome by giving one team a fractional advantage or disadvantage.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money set aside for placing bets; manage this to avoid overspending.
- Bet Builder
- A feature allowing you to combine multiple markets from a single match into one custom wager.
- Both Teams to Score
- A bet predicting whether both sides will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- A feature to settle a bet early, locking in a profit or cutting losses before the event ends.
- Correct Score
- A bet requiring you to predict the exact final score of a match.
- Double Chance
- A bet covering two of three possible outcomes, increasing your chance of winning.
- Draw No Bet
- A wager where you get your stake back if the match ends in a draw, otherwise you win or lose.
- Each-Way
- Two bets in one: one on the selection to win, one on it to place; pays partially if it finishes in top positions.
- European Handicap
- A handicap that includes the draw option, unlike Asian Handicap which eliminates draws.
- First Goalscorer
- A bet on which player will score the opening goal of the match.
- Fold
- The number of selections in an accumulator; a four-fold has four legs.
- Free Bet
- A bonus bet credited to your account; winnings are usually paid out without returning the original stake.
- Half Time/Full Time
- A bet predicting both the halftime and final result of a match as a combined outcome.
- In-Play
- Bets placed after an event has started, with odds that update as the action unfolds.
- KYC
- Know Your Customer; the identity verification process required by gambling regulations.
- Live Streaming
- Watching match footage directly on the platform while placing in-play bets.
- Margin
- The bookmaker's built-in advantage, often called the overround, baked into the odds offered.
- Odds Boost
- Enhanced odds offered on specific selections, increasing potential payouts.
- Parlay
- An American term for an accumulator; a single wager combining multiple selections.
- Stake
- The amount of money you wager on a bet.
- System Bet
- A bet covering multiple combinations of selections, so not all legs need to win for a return.
- Terms and Conditions
- The rules governing bonuses and promotions; always read to understand wagering requirements and restrictions.
- Wagering Requirement
- The number of times bonus funds must be bet before withdrawing any winnings.
